Never submerge selenite, malachite, kyanite, lepidolite, fluorite, pyrite, or celestite in water. These are soft, water-soluble, or contain reactive metals. Cleanse them with moonlight, sage smoke, or sound instead.
How often should I cleanse my crystals?
Weekly if you use them daily, or any time after an intense emotional event, a difficult environment, or when the stone feels energetically heavy to you.
How do I charge a crystal?
Place the crystal on a windowsill during a full moon overnight, in gentle morning sunlight for 15 to 30 minutes, or on a clear quartz or selenite plate. Avoid strong midday sun for colored stones such as amethyst and rose quartz, which can fade.
